We helped the finance department of a Special District change the decision making process to allow for more staff autonomy while improving services to the district staff. This was accomplished through a series of workshops with staff and management where consensus was reached on both the functions and responsibilities of the department and the level at which decisions were to be made and/or approved. The district benefited from this through the reduction of time to process actions through the finance department and the consistency of results.
